Introducing the New and Free Pocus 101 App
Dr. V Din from Pocus 101 is excited to introduce the new and free Pocus 101 app that can be downloaded on your Apple or Android phone and tablet devices. To download the app, simply search for “Pocus 101” in the app store.
Why the Pocus 101 App Was Developed
The Pocus 101 team created the app for Pocus users to access high-quality focus content anytime at the bedside. To access the free content on the app, users can click on the “Continue without logging in” link. However, if you have a subscription to the Pocus 101 courses, make sure to sign in with your credentials.
Access Tutorials and Related Handouts
Once you are past the login screen, you can access all of the free comprehensive written tutorials from the Pocus 101 blog. The tutorials are organized in a way that makes it easy for users to access any tutorial at any time. Simply click on the link, and it will take you to the tutorial, as well as access to any related handouts.
Access Your Pocus 101 Courses
If you have a subscription to the Pocus 101 courses, you can access all of your courses directly from the app. Click on the icon to view all of your courses. The app will display which courses you’ve completed, as well as those that you still need to complete. Select a course you want to view and then select a lesson. The video should automatically start playing on your phone. You can change the playback speed of the video by selecting the gear icon. Once you select a playback speed, the app will remember the speed and play all future videos at that same speed.
Access Your CME Certificates of Completion
The Pocus 101 app allows users to access and download all of their CME certificates of completion by clicking the middle icon and then selecting a CME certificate that you want to view.
Built-In Text Messaging System
For users who are part of a group subscription, such as a medical school or residency, the app has a built-in text messaging system. This allows instructors to communicate with all their learners as well as individual users to communicate directly with their instructor. A notification badge appears on the user’s phone when new messages are received.
Access the Menu Button
The last button on the Pocus 101 app is the menu button where users can change any of their desired settings.
